Services at St Stephen’s

We worship together each Sunday at 11am and most Sundays at 6.30pm.

Adults and children of all ages are welcome at all of our services. During the school term we run Sunday School, a preschool group and a youth group at most morning services. Our evening services are a more contemplative time of worship, learning and reflection.

The usual pattern is:

First Sunday
11am ‘First Sunday’ – an all-age service with breakfast at the start.
6.30pm Informal Holy Communion

Second Sunday
11am Holy Communion with provision for children and young people
6.30pm Informal Evening Worship

Third Sunday
11am Morning Worship with provision for children and young people
6.30pm Informal Holy Communion

Fourth Sunday
11am Holy Communion with provision for children and young people
6.30pm Informal Evening Worship

Fifth Sunday
11am Morning Worship with provision for children and young people
6.30pm Informal Evening Worship

At festivals and on special occasions we often have all-age services led by our children and
young people. When you arrive our stewards will offer you a warm welcome and help you settle in.

There is a crèche room for parents of very young children who would like a quiet space where the service can still be heard.

We have a hearing loop and provide large print service books and leaflets. There is step free access to our building.

We are a friendly community of people seeking to worship and serve God in Canonbury.

Come and join us.
